Sony has confirmed the release dates of the PlayStation Plus gaming subscription service across different regions globally. The Asian countries(excluding Japan and India) will be the first ones to get it, followed by America, and Europe(including India). Sony has said that it will be expanding its cloud streaming access to 30 countries, by bringing in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
The new PlayStation Plus will arrive in Asia on May 23, in Japan on June 1, followed by America on June 13 and finally in Europe on June 22.
The new service comes with three subscriptions: PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra, and PS Plus Premium. The official global pricing for these subscriptions were announced by Sony earlier. Unconfirmed reports had then hinted that the PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium might come in at Rs. 800 and Rs. 1,000 monthly, but doubts have been cast on those prices since then.
PS Plus Essential will offer the same benefits as the current PS plus membership. PS Plus Extra will provide up to 400 PS4 and PS5 games. PS Plus Premium will provide a total of 740 games, including the games from PS3, and other older generation consoles
